PSAJK Srinagar district elections scheduled today

Srinagar, Apr 06: The Private Schools Association of Jammu & Kashmir (PSAJK) will conduct its District Srinagar elections on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

 

PSAJK President Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam said the electoral process is underway across Kashmir division, with arrangements in place for smooth polling in the district.

 

He stated that the polling will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Central Office, Srinagar, where all eligible members of PSAJK are requested to participate and exercise their democratic right to elect their District President.

 

Dr. Baba further informed that Tahir Ahmad Waggay and Azar Ahmad Dar are contesting for the post of District President, PSAJK Srinagar.

 

He urged all members of the PSAJK fraternity in District Srinagar to ensure their presence at the polling venue within the stipulated time to cast their votes.

 

It was also conveyed that members of the Election Commission will be present during the polling process to ensure transparency and smooth conduct of the election.
